Delicious Greenbeans
Ingredients:
3/4 lbs fresh greenbeans
4 strips thick, sliced bacon
3 large shallots thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper


Directions:
Cook green beans in boiling salted water until crisp/tender. (about 5 min )
Drain and plung into ice water and drain again.

Cook bacon until crisp. Save drippings. Add Shallots to drippings and cook over medium heat until tender and golden ( about 3 min ). Add beans and salt and pepper and cook. Stir constantly 1-2 min., until beans are cooked. I added bacon and cooked it all together, stirring constanly, or you can sprinkle bacon on before serving.
