Cook broccoli, drain. place spears crosswise in pan. melt butter and blend in flour. Add chicken broth and stir constantly until mixture thickens. Stir in cream, sherry and salt. Pour half the sauce overbroccoli. Top with chicken slices. To remaining sauce add 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. Pour over chicken and sprinkle with additional cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes, until bubbly and slightly brown on top.
