Ingredients:
1 package Noodles ( I used No Yolks)
1 bag (16 oz) broccoli slaw
1 Tbsp. canola oil
8 oz lean chicken or boneless pork chops
( bite size pieces)
3 green onions sliced
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 cup low sodium chicken broth
4 Tbsp teriyaki sauce
2 tsp corn starch
1 tsp red pepper flakes
Directions:
Cook noodles according to the package directions, adding broccoli slaw at the 4 minute mark, returning to boil and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Drain and keep warm. Stir fry chicken or pork in oil in a large skillet until lightly browned. Push meat to one side. Add onion and garlic, cook for 1 minute. Mix 2 Tbsp chicken broth and cornstarch into a small bowl until smooth. Add the remaining broth, teriyaki sauce and red pepper flakes.
Add all of the liquid to the skillet and cook stirring constantly until the mixture thickens and boils.
Serve over Noodles with broccoli mixture.
Serves 4
( I mixed everything together in a large bowl, noodles and all, and served that way. This would be good over chinese noodles too.If you are allergic to broccoli you can use regular coleslaw instead.)
